Clarity
Recently, when I was meditating, I found a moment of pure clarity.
I’m not a religious man, but this shook me.
Many months ago, I began working with a yoga instructor who guides meditation. This has been good for me, because I need to get out of my head. It’s not a friendly place. I wouldn’t recommend going there.
But meditation has helped. I feel more at peace than I ever have in my life. And this opened me up to experience clarity.
It’s a beautiful moment, but it doesn’t last long. Once you experience it, the crude world crashes in, as if it’s jealous. “How dare you feel peace!”
On and on it goes. But experiencing clarity, no matter how fleeting, is worth the ride. And we’re all on the same ride.
